The A66 is a heavy 12-gauge right angle with two 5-7/8 in. legs, 1-1/2 in. wide, that bolts wood members together with 3/8 in. bolts. It is the bolted big brother of the nailed A34 and A35 framing angles.
G90 galvanized for dry, interior use. For treated lumber or exterior exposure, ask us about a ZMAX or stainless option.

How to Install
- Hold the angle in place and drill 3/8 in. bolt holes through the wood at the pre-punched holes.
- Install 3/8 in. bolts with washers against the wood and tighten snug.
- Use all specified fasteners to reach the published loads.

Can I nail it instead of bolting?
The A66 is designed for 3/8 in. bolts. For a nailed connection, use an A34 or A35 framing angle.
Can I use it on a pressure-treated deck?
Not this finish. G90 galvanizing is for dry, interior framing. For preservative-treated lumber or exterior exposure, Simpson calls for ZMAX, hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel connectors and matching fasteners. Ask us about the ZMAX or stainless version.
