Raindog Blank Plate
The Raindog Blank Plate is a rainscreen mounting plate that gives handrails, doorbells and similar hardware a flat, sealed surface to fasten to where they penetrate the siding, using a built-in rainscreen channel and a double water seal system to route water away from the fastener opening instead of letting it pool against the wall. It is molded from copolymer UV-stabilized polypropylene, about 4.5 in. x 6.5 in. at the face, with a hole sized for 1/2 in. pipe and an easy knockout for larger fasteners.
