3/4" x 20-foot.

3/4" (20mm) rebar — known as 20M under the CSA G30.18 metric bar designation and equivalent to a #6 imperial reinforcing bar — is a heavy structural-grade deformed steel bar with a nominal diameter of 19.5mm and a nominal mass of 2.355 kg/m (approximately 14.4 kg, or 31.7 lb, per 20-foot length). It is hot-rolled from Grade 400W weldable carbon steel and deformed with ribs along its length to provide mechanical bonding with concrete.

The primary applications of 3/4" (20mm) rebar include heavy structural reinforcement in highway and bridge construction, as well as foundation-grade beams, columns, grade beams, and footings. #6 reinforcement steel is also widely used in heavier commercial and light-industrial construction, including parking structures, retaining walls, caissons, and load-bearing tilt-up walls, wherever the reinforcement demand exceeds what smaller 15M (5/8") or 10M (1/2") bar can carry.
