Deckorators Summit is a mineral-based composite deck board built with the same Surestone Technology core, board thickness and load rating as the flagship Voyage line, in a simpler 3-colour palette at a lower price. This is the 5.5 in. width (5/4 x 6 nominal), grooved for a StealthLock hidden fastener in the field or solid (square edge) for stairs and the perimeter, in 12, 16 and 20 ft. lengths.
Summit's warranty is shorter than Voyage's: 25-Year Limited Structural coverage without removal or replacement of a defective board. See Performance and Warranty below before choosing between the two lines.

Performance and Warranty
Summit and Voyage share the same chemical composition, board thickness and load rating per Deckorators' code compliance report; the difference is warranty depth and colour range, not material. Summit carries a 25-Year Limited Structural Warranty and a 25-Year Limited Stain and Fade Warranty, but unlike Voyage, removal and replacement of a defective board is not covered.

How to Install
- Frame at 16 in. o.c. maximum for a standard perpendicular pattern, 12 in. o.c. for a 45-degree diagonal or commercial application, and 9 in. o.c. at stair stringers.
- Run grooved boards across the field and set a StealthLock Universal Deck Clip in the groove at every joist, which locks the board-to-board gap as it drives.
- Use solid (square edge) boards with a compatible composite deck screw on stairs and the outer perimeter, where a hidden clip has nothing to grip.
- Leave 1/8 in. side-to-side above 32 F or 3/16 in. below 32 F, and 1/16 to 1/8 in. at end joints, per the installation guide.

Grooved or solid - which do I need?
Grooved boards run the main deck field and take a StealthLock hidden fastener clip at every joist. Solid (square edge) boards face-screw and are used for stairs and the deck perimeter, where a hidden clip has nothing to grip.
How is Summit different from Voyage?
Same Surestone mineral-composite core, board size and load rating as Voyage, in a simpler 3-colour palette at a lower price. Summit's warranty is 25-Year Structural with no covered removal or replacement, versus Voyage's 50-Year Structural warranty with removal and replacement included.
Does it need staining or sealing?
No. Colour is part of the mineral-composite core, not a surface coating. An occasional rinse with soap and water is all it needs.
