Diablo's carbide teeth hole saw cuts wood and metal with one saw. Diablo lists clean wood, nail-embedded wood, plastic, aluminum, metal, cast iron and stainless steel, as well as siding, composite decking, fiber cement, fiberglass, laminate, steel studs and roofing, and rates the carbide teeth for up to 50X longer life than bi-metal hole saws.
This is the 1 in. size with a 2-3/8 in. (60 mm) cutting depth, which Diablo says makes 40% deeper holes in one pass. It mounts on Diablo's Snap-Lock Plus mandrel for quick changes, and the plug ejects without tools.
