LePage Heavy Duty Spray Adhesive, Clear, 467 g
LePage Heavy Duty Spray Adhesive is a synthetic rubber contact adhesive in a 467 g aerosol can. It dries clear without yellowing, bonds in about 10 minutes and covers roughly 75 sq. ft. per can per coat, so it suits laminate, trim, upholstery and panel jobs. It bonds wood, metal, glass, carpet and plastics such as PVC and acrylic.
No repositioning. Pre-fit the pieces first. Not recommended for foam board or unsupported vinyl fabric.

How to Install
- Shake the can 10 to 12 times and make sure both surfaces are clean, dry and free of debris.
- Pre-fit the pieces and mask nearby finished surfaces with kraft paper.
- Spray an even coat on both surfaces from 8 to 10 in. away, keeping the can moving.
- Start and stop spraying off the work to avoid runs.
- Press the surfaces together with firm pressure over the whole area within the 10 minute open time.
- Invert the can and spray for about 2 seconds to clear the tip.
Some plastics can fail from plasticizer migration, and heat with high humidity can weaken the bond. Test first. Source: LePage Heavy Duty Spray technical data sheet (PDF).
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I reposition after pressing?
No. The bond is permanent on contact, so pre-fit first.
How many coats?
One even coat on both surfaces. Porous materials need more than one.
What if the 10 minutes has passed?
The adhesive loses tack, so recoat before bonding.
Can it bond foam board?
Henkel does not recommend it for foam board or unsupported vinyl fabric.
