LSSR1.81Z Slopeable / Skewable Rafter Hanger, 1-3/4 in. LVL or I-joist rafter

The LSSR1.81Z is a field-adjustable rafter hanger for a 1-3/4 in. LVL or I-joist rafter. The swivel seat slopes 0 to 45 degrees up or down and the flanges skew 0 to 45 degrees left or right, so one hanger covers most hip, valley and jack rafter connections.

ZMAX galvanized. Limit rafter spacing to 11 in. on centre minimum with this model.

  1. Bend the flanges to the skew and swing the seat to the rafter slope.
  2. Fill the header holes with (14) 0.148 in. x 2-1/2 in. nails.
  3. Fill the rafter holes with (12) 0.148 in. x 1-1/2 in. nails.
