The Titen HD is Simpson's heavy-duty screw anchor for concrete and masonry. This 5/8 in. x 6 in. hex-head version is mechanically galvanized for more corrosion protection than the standard zinc-plated Titen HD. Hole size equals anchor size: drill a 5/8 in. hole with a standard ANSI bit.
Use each anchor once. Simpson warns that reinstalling a Titen HD wears the threads and reduces load capacity.

How to Install
- Drill a 5/8 in. hole to embedment depth plus the overdrill Simpson specifies.
- Blow the hole clean with compressed air (overhead holes excepted).
- Drive the anchor through the fixture until snug. Never reuse it.
