Tremclad Oil Based Rust Primer, Flat Red Oxide, 946 mL
Tremclad Red Oxide Rust Primer is a flat alkyd primer for metal. It contains zinc phosphate as a rust inhibitor and gives extra protection on sandblasted or severely pitted surfaces before a Tremclad topcoat.
A primer, not a finish. The flat red oxide coat is meant to be topcoated. Tremclad Rust Paint itself needs no primer on most jobs, so use this one where the metal is badly pitted or blasted to bare steel.
