Diablo Diamond Continuous Rim Masonry Cut-Off Disc

Diablo's continuous rim disc has an unbroken diamond edge. The ultra-thin rim stays in constant contact with the cut, which Diablo says gives up to 60% smoother cuts than its standard diamond cut-off discs, with no chipping or burn marks. A hardened disc body absorbs vibration and resists impact in hard materials.

Five sizes. The 4 in., 4-1/2 in. and 5 in. discs fit 7/8 in., 20 mm and 5/8 in. arbors and include 20 mm and 5/8 in. bushings. The 7 in. and 10 in. discs have a 5/8 in. arbor. Diablo lists the smaller sizes for angle grinders, the 7 in. for angle grinders, circular saws and tile saws, and the 10 in. for tile saws. Every size cuts wet or dry.

Tile and stone, not concrete. Diablo rates this disc for granite, marble, porcelain and tile. For concrete, brick and block, use the segmented blade or the turbo blade.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I cut wet?

Yes. Diablo rates every size of this disc for wet and dry cutting.

Which bushing do I need?

The 4 in., 4-1/2 in. and 5 in. discs fit 7/8 in., 20 mm and 5/8 in. arbors, and the 20 mm and 5/8 in. bushings are included. The 7 in. and 10 in. discs have a 5/8 in. arbor, and Diablo lists no bushing for them.

Continuous rim or segmented?

Continuous rim for tile, porcelain and stone, where a clean edge matters. Segmented or turbo for concrete, brick and block. The segmented and turbo blades are on their own pages, linked in the intro above.

Which size fits my tool?

Diablo lists the 4 in., 4-1/2 in. and 5 in. discs for angle grinders. The 7 in. is listed for angle grinders, circular saws and tile saws, and the 10 in. for tile saws. Check your tool's no-load speed against the disc's maximum RPM: a small grinder can turn faster than a 7 in. disc is rated for.
