King Chain Fixed Eye Bronze Bolt Snap
Bronze bolt snaps for marine and wet work. Bronze does not rust, and unlike plated steel it does not have a coating to wear through at the gate, which is where a snap always fails first.
A fixed eye does not rotate, so choose fixed where the snap attaches to something that will not twist and swivel where the line behind it can wind up. Either way, safe working load (SWL) is 18 kg (40 lb.).

Questions
Why bronze?
It does not corrode in salt air or spray, and there is no plating to wear off at the gate. Plated steel snaps seize within a season near salt water.
Fixed eye or swivel?
Fixed where nothing behind it twists. Swivel where a line or chain can wind up.
Will bronze mark other metals?
Bronze against aluminium in wet conditions can drive galvanic corrosion in the aluminium. Watch it on boats.
Is it load rated?
Yes, 18 kg (40 lb.) safe working load.
