KingCord 1/4 in. Yellow Hollow Braid Polypropylene Rope
Hollow braid polypropylene in high-visibility yellow, cut to whatever length you need off the reel. The usual job is barrier and boundary work, where the colour matters as much as the strength.
Do not use it for overhead lifting and do not load it past 110 lb. That safe working load already sits well below the breaking strength, and the gap is what covers shock loading, knots, abrasion and age. A knot on its own can take a third off the strength of a rope.

Does it float?
Yes. Polypropylene floats and does not take up water, which is why it is used around pools and docks.
Can I splice it myself?
Yes. Hollow braid is the easiest construction to hand splice. You can form an eye without any special tools.
How much can it hold?
110 lb. safe working load. Do not use it for overhead lifting at any load.
Will it last outside?
It has UV inhibitors, which helps, but no polypropylene lasts indefinitely in direct sun. Check it for stiffness and chalky fibres each season.
