Featherlite 3700 Series Aluminum Sawhorse, 300 lb.

The Featherlite 3700 Series is a folding aluminum sawhorse with a wide work surface and a trestle frame that you can reach from either side. It comes in two heights: the 3703 at 3 ft. and the 3704 at 4 ft. Both carry 300 lb.

The 300 lb rating is for the sawhorse itself. Featherlite says several units can be combined to carry a plank, and the plank has its own load rating, so check it before you set up a platform.

Features and Common Uses
  • Extruded aluminum steps and side rails with a serrated surface for grip and strength
  • Trestle design, so you can work from either side
  • J-shaped spreaders for quick set-up and flat storage
  • Heavy-gauge steel hinges and heavy-duty gusset bracing
  • Double-rivet step construction
  • Angled, slip-resistant rubber feet
  • Units can be combined to carry a plank

Commonly used for:

  • A lightweight, wide work surface for cutting, sawing and assembly
  • A pair under a plank as a low work platform for trim, drywall and finishing
  • Stepping up to reach a few feet higher on interior jobs

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the 3703 and the 3704?

Height and footprint. The 3703 is 3 ft. tall and weighs 14 lb. The 4 ft. 3704 weighs 19 lb. and has a deeper base. Both are rated 300 lb.

Can I use two sawhorses with a plank?

Yes. Featherlite says multiple units can be combined to carry a plank. The 300 lb rating applies to each sawhorse, and the plank needs its own rating for the span and the load.

Does the sawhorse fold?

Yes. The J-shaped spreaders lock it open and release for storage.

Is it made of steel or aluminum?

Aluminum rails and steps, with steel hinges and rubber feet.
