King Chain 3/32 in. x 50 ft. Galvanized Aircraft Cable Kit
Fifty feet of 3/32 in. galvanized steel cable, 7x7 construction, made to US Federal Specification RR-W-410D. It comes as a kit: four wire rope clips and two thimbles are in the pack, which is everything needed to form a proper thimbled eye at each end.
The middle size in the coiled range, and the usual choice for a longer run than 1/16 in. will hold. KingChain states plainly that these cables are not intended for aircraft use, whatever the name says. Never exceed the safe working load, and never use it for overhead lifting.

Questions
Why are the clips and thimbles 1/8 in. on a 3/32 in. cable?
That is how KingChain packs the kit. A 1/8 in. clip closes onto 3/32 in. cable, and the thimble groove takes it. Tighten the clip nuts to seat the cable rather than judging it by the gap.
Which way round do the clips go?
The saddle sits on the live end of the cable and the U-bolt on the dead end, the short tail that comes back through the thimble. Getting it the other way round crushes the part of the cable that carries the load.
How many clips per eye?
Two, which is why four are in the pack for two eyes. Space them a few cable diameters apart and retighten after the cable has taken load once.
Is it really aircraft cable?
It is the construction and the specification aircraft cable uses, but KingChain says it is not intended for aircraft use.
What can I actually hang on it?
