KingCord 3/8 in. x 50 ft. Nylon Double Braid Anchor Line
A double braid nylon anchor line with the eye already spliced and a 3/8 in. stainless steel thimble set into it, so it shackles straight onto an anchor without any rope work on your part.
Safe working load is 570 lb. It is not rated for overhead lifting, and the margin between that figure and the breaking strength is what covers shock loading, knots, abrasion and age.

Is the thimble included?
Yes. The eye is hand spliced at the factory with a 3/8 in. stainless steel thimble already in it.
Why nylon and not polypropylene?
Nylon stretches under load and absorbs shock, which is what you want on an anchor rode. Polypropylene floats but has almost no give, so every wave shocks the anchor.
Does it float?
No. Nylon sinks. That is normal and preferred for anchor rode so the line stays clear of the propeller.
How much rode do I need?
A common starting point is seven feet of rode for every foot of water depth, then adjust for conditions. 50 ft. suits shallow anchoring on a small boat.
How much can it hold?
570 lb. safe working load. Never use it for overhead lifting.
