KingCord 3/8 in. x 50 ft. Smooth Braid Polypropylene Rope
Smooth braid polypropylene at 3/8 in., 50 ft. Smooth braid gives a round, firm rope with no twist to fight, so it runs cleanly through a hand or a pulley and does not kink coming out of a coil.
The trade-off is sun: polypropylene chalks and weakens under UV faster than nylon or polyester, so check it each season. It is not rated for overhead lifting.

Questions
Does it float?
Yes. Polypropylene floats and does not take up water, which is why it is the standard rope around water.
How long will it last outside?
Less than polyester. Polypropylene goes chalky and stiff under UV. Check it each season and replace it once the fibres feel brittle.
Smooth braid or diamond braid?
Smooth braid is rounder and firmer in the hand. Diamond braid has the longer service life. Both are polypropylene and both float.
How much can it hold?
KingCord does not publish a safe working load for this size and construction. Never use it overhead.
