How is this different from the full-size DCF845?

It's DeWalt's compact ATOMIC line: about 1 in. shorter front to back for tight spaces, at a slightly lower top speed (3,250 vs. 3,400 RPM) and impact rate. Max torque is the same 1,825 in-lbs on both.

What bits does it take?

Standard 1/4 in. hex impact-rated bits and sockets, held by the quick-connect chuck with no sleeve to retract.

What's in the box?

The impact driver and a belt hook. No battery or charger.
