5/8" x 7-1/4" Primed Shiplap MDF Moulding 16-ft.

Primed MDF shiplap board, 5/8 in. thick and 7-1/4 in. wide, in a 16 ft. length. The shiplap profile lets boards overlap edge to edge for the grooved, horizontal look used on feature walls, ceilings and full rooms.

Interior use only. MDF swells when it gets wet, so keep it out of exterior and constantly damp locations. It is sold in 16 ft. lengths only.

How to Install
  1. Let the boards sit in the room for 48 hours before installing so they match its humidity.
  2. Locate the studs and mark them so each board can be nailed into solid framing.
  3. Set the first board level and tight to the corner or ceiling, then work across so each board overlaps the one before.
  4. Fasten at every stud with finish nails, fill the nail holes, caulk the joints and paint.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this outside?

No. It is an interior product. MDF swells and breaks down when it gets wet.

Is it painted?

It is factory primed. Apply your finish paint after filling the nail holes and caulking the joints.

What length does it come in?

16 ft. only.
