Arrow Swivel Head One-Handed Rivet Tool

The Arrow RHT300 is a manual, spring-loaded rivet tool with a head that rotates a full 360 degrees, so you can set a rivet at an angle without twisting your wrist to match. All-steel construction with vinyl grip handles is built for repeated shop use rather than occasional repairs.

It ships with four interchangeable nose pieces and a nose-changing wrench, covering 3/32 in. through 3/16 in. rivets. Arrow's own instructions call out one real limit: don't load a 3/16 in. all-steel rivet into a manually operated tool like this one, and stainless steel rivets generally aren't meant for hand tools at all - both take more force than a hand riveter is built to deliver reliably.

Features and Common Uses
  • Fully rotating (360°) head for angled and hard-to-reach rivets
  • Spring-loaded handle reopens the jaws automatically between pulls
  • All-steel construction with soft vinyl, non-slip grip handles
  • Four nose pieces and a nose-changing wrench included
  • Sets 3/32 in., 1/8 in., 5/32 in. and 3/16 in. diameter rivets

Commonly used for:

  • General sheet metal, automotive trim and leather riveting
  • Gutter, HVAC duct and fabrication shop work
  • Jobs needing an angled approach a straight-jaw riveter can't reach

Frequently Asked Questions
What rivet sizes does it handle?

3/32, 1/8, 5/32 and 3/16 in. diameter, using the four included nose pieces.

Can I set 3/16 in. steel rivets with it?

Arrow specifically advises against 3/16 in. all-steel rivets in a manual tool like this one - the pull force needed is more than a hand riveter is built to deliver reliably. Aluminum rivets in that size are fine.

Can it set stainless steel rivets?

No. Arrow's manual states stainless steel rivets generally aren't meant for manually operated rivet tools - use a heavier-duty or powered tool instead.

Why does the head rotate?

So you can set a rivet at an angle - into a corner or an assembled frame - without contorting your wrist to line up a fixed straight jaw.
