The Deckorators Sleeper System is a reversible two-tone composite sleeper used to raise and level deck boards over a solid substrate, most often a concrete slab or a properly membraned rooftop deck. It is milled 1-1/2 in. x 1-1/2 in. (2 x 2 nominal) in the same Surestone mineral-composite material as Deckorators decking, in 8 and 12 ft. lengths.
Not a structural joist. Deckorators' own installation guide states the sleepers are not structural and must sit on a continuous, fully supported surface.
