Four polycrystalline diamond (PCD) tips in a triple-chip grind replace the carbide teeth on a standard blade, which is what gives it its long life against an abrasive material like fiber cement.
This is a thin-kerf blade (.071 in. kerf, .051 in. plate) on a 5/8 in. arbor, so it fits any standard 7-1/4 in. corded or cordless circular saw. It is not a general-purpose wood blade; using it on wood or metal wastes the diamond tips.
