Diablo Forstner Bit Set for Wood

Diablo's Forstner bit sets cover the common sizes in forged high-speed steel with a hardened body. The bits bore straight, angled and overlapping flat-bottom holes in wood, and the double-ground serrated edges cut with less splintering and chipping. Use them in drill presses and handheld drills.

Three sets. The 4-piece holds the 1/4 in., 1/2 in., 3/4 in. and 1 in. bits. The 7-piece holds the seven smallest sizes, 1/4 in. to 1 in. in eighth-inch steps from 1/4 in. up to 1 in. The 16-piece holds every size Diablo makes, 1/4 in. to 2-1/8 in.

3/8 in. chuck minimum. Diablo lists a minimum chuck size of 3/8 in. for every set, including the sets with the 1/4 in. bit.

Yes. Every size is sold individually on the Forstner bit page, from 1/4 in. to 2-1/8 in.

What chuck size do I need?

Diablo lists a 3/8 in. minimum chuck for all three sets.

What speed should I run them at?
