Green Line Brass Female Hose x Female Pipe (NPT) Adapter
Brass adapter that joins a garden hose (female garden hose thread (fght)) to female pipe thread (npt) pipe. Threads onto a hose bib or male hose end and accepts a male NPT nipple or fitting. Lead-free brass, rated 150 psi working pressure.

How to Install
- Wrap the male NPT thread clockwise with 3 to 4 turns of PTFE tape or use pipe dope. Hose threads seal on a washer and get no tape.
- Thread the NPT side hand-tight, then turn 1 to 2 more turns with a wrench. Do not overtighten brass.
- Make sure a hose washer sits in every female hose-thread end, then hand-tighten the hose connection and test for leaks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is garden hose thread the same as pipe thread?
No. Garden hose thread (GHT, 3/4" 11.5 TPI) is a straight thread that seals on a washer. NPT pipe thread is tapered and seals on the thread itself. They do not interchange, which is what this adapter solves.
