HardiePlank Eased Edge is James Hardie's best-selling fiber cement lap siding, milled 5/16 in. thick with an eased (softened) top edge for a classic clapboard reveal. This is the 8.25 in. width, running 7 in. of exposure per course at the standard 1-1/4 in. overlap, in 12 ft. lengths.

How to Install
- Maintain at least 6 in. of clearance from grade and follow James Hardie's flashing details at rooflines, decks and penetrations.
- Cut outdoors with a Hardie-approved blade and dust collection, or score and snap for straight runs.
- Overlap courses a minimum of 1-1/4 in. and blind-nail with a No. 11 gauge roofing nail at 24 in. o.c. maximum, 3/4 in. to 1 in. from the top edge.
- Face-nail through the overlap only where high wind or code requires it.
- Prime all field cuts and fastener heads, and caulk vertical joints before finish coating.
