Shieldkote Standard Concrete Form Release Oil

Shieldkote Standard is a ready-to-use chemical release agent from Innovative Manufacturing of Delta, BC. It leaves a thin waterproof film on the form face so concrete strips cleanly instead of bonding to the form.

Use it on wood and untreated plywood, steel forms, seal-treated plywood and fibre tube forms. Do not use it on galvanized forms or store it in galvanized pails. Sold in 4 L and 20 L sizes.

Features and Common Uses
  • Forms a waterproof film that stops concrete bonding to the form face
  • Ready to use, with no dilution
  • Works on wood, untreated and seal-treated plywood, steel and fibre tube forms
  • Pale straw liquid; water beads on treated surfaces so you can see where it has been applied
  • Meets Corps of Engineers CE 1401.01 and CW 03101 form coating references listed on the manufacturer bulletin

Commonly used for:

  • Wall, footing and column forms
  • Slab edge forms and steel pans
  • Fibre tube column forms
