King Chain 7x19 Galvanized Aircraft Cable
7x19 aircraft cable is built from seven strands of nineteen wires each. More wires of a smaller diameter means a more flexible cable, which is why 7x19 is the construction used where the cable has to bend around a pulley or sheave rather than just hang.
Breaking strength is not a working load. Rigging practice applies a design factor of at least 5 to 1 to wire rope, so a 1/8 in. cable at 2,000 lb. breaking gives roughly 400 lb. of usable load.

What is the difference between 7x19 and 7x7?
7x19 has more, finer wires so it bends more easily and is the choice where the cable runs over a sheave. 7x7 is stiffer and slightly stronger for its size in some diameters.
What load can I actually put on it?
Apply a design factor of at least 5 to 1 to the breaking strength. On 1/8 in. that is roughly 400 lb. Use a larger factor for anything overhead or where people are involved.
How do I terminate it?
Wire rope clips with a thimble, or a swaged sleeve. With clips the saddle always goes on the live end of the rope and the U-bolt on the dead end.
Can I cut it with side cutters?
Use a proper cable cutter. Side cutters crush and splay the strands, which makes it impossible to fit a sleeve or feed it through a fitting.
Will it rust?
Galvanizing slows it considerably but a cut end exposes bare steel. Seal or sleeve cut ends outdoors.
