Premium Marine Grade G2S A-B Fir Plywood 4-ft x 8-ft
Marine Grade G2S A-B Fir Plywood is Douglas fir plywood made without internal voids. Solid-core plies leave no gaps in the inner layers where water can collect, and a rigid phenolic resin bonds the plies.
It is sold in 4 ft. x 8 ft. sheets in 1/2 and 3/4 in. thickness.
Features and Common Uses
- Zero internal voids, so water has no gaps to settle in and cause rot
- Solid-core plies for strength in moisture and under heavy stress
- Rigid phenolic resin bond that does not delaminate in boiling water tests or prolonged high humidity
- A-B grade faces
Commonly used for:
- Boat building: hull planking, transoms and internal cabinetry
- High-end exteriors: outdoor kitchens, signage and decorative soffits
- Wet area subfloors in bathrooms and laundry rooms
- Docks and marinas: structural decking and ramps
