EAB Stay Sharp 7 in. x 1/8 in. Masonry Cut-Off Wheel, Type 1

A 7 in. x 1/8 in. Type 1 abrasive cut-off wheel from EAB's Stay Sharp Professional line, for cutting masonry, concrete, block and tile on a circular saw. The 5/8 in. arbor hole is reinforced with a wide aluminum flange for strength.

Rated 8,600 RPM. Use it only on a tool whose rated speed is at or below that figure, with the guard in place.

A Type 1 cut-off wheel is for straight cuts only. Do not grind with the face of the wheel.

Will it cut steel?

No. It is a masonry wheel. For steel use a metal cut-off wheel, such as the EAB 7 in. x 1/8 in. metal wheel.

Can I grind with it?

No. Type 1 cut-off wheels are thin and made for cutting with the edge only. For grinding use a 1/4 in. Type 27 depressed centre wheel.
