CJT6ZS Concealed Joist Tie, ZMAX
The CJT6ZS is a 12-gauge concealed joist tie for flush, hidden beam-to-beam connections. The tie screws to the supporting member, the beam end is routed and slides down over it, and dowels lock the beam in place. All dowels and screws come with it.
Install the beam perpendicular to the support and never rotate it after install. Simpson warns that twisting the beam from its far end can damage the connection without visible signs.

How to Install
- Rout the beam end so the screw heads sit flush.
- Screw the tie to the supporting member with the supplied screws.
- Slide the beam down over the tie and drive the supplied dowels.
- Install the beam perpendicular to the support and do not rotate it afterward.
