CS20 20-Gauge Coiled Strap, 250 ft.
CS20 is 20-gauge galvanized strapping, 1-1/4 in. wide, on a 250 ft. roll. Cut it to length on site for roof uplift ties and shear wall overturning straps, at a lower cost than pre-cut straps.
Wood shrinkage across horizontal members after install can make the strap buckle outward. Allow for it, or install after the framing has dried.

How to Install
- Cut enough strap to get the required fasteners on each side of the joint.
- Nail or screw the table quantity into each member, respecting minimum edge and end distances.
- Meet the code minimum nail penetration for the framing.

Can I use it on a pressure-treated deck?
Not this finish. G90 galvanizing is for dry, interior framing. For preservative-treated lumber or exterior exposure, Simpson calls for ZMAX, hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel connectors and matching fasteners. Ask us about the ZMAX or stainless version.
