The ADT813S is the manual gun Simpson Strong-Tie builds for its 12.5 oz. AT-XP high-strength acrylic anchoring adhesive, sold as the AT-XP13 cartridge. AT-XP is far thicker than caulk, and a hardware-store gun either stalls on it or flexes until the frame bends. The ADT813S runs a 26:1 drive through a steel carriage, so the cartridge empties at a steady rate instead of in surges.
Double-gripping plates take the load on the plunger rod rather than a single plate, which is usually the part that wears out first on a gun used daily. It's built for AT-XP13's side-by-side cartridge shape, so it takes the AMN19Q mixing nozzle supplied with each cartridge rather than a standard caulk-gun tip.
This is a 12.5 oz. side-by-side cartridge tool only. The 9.4 oz. coaxial cartridge (AT-XP10) needs the CDT10S instead, and the 30 oz. cartridge (AT-XP30) needs the ADT30S or ADTA30P.

How to Use
- Pull the plunger rod fully back, seat the AT-XP13 cartridge flat in the carriage, then fit the AMN19Q mixing nozzle supplied with the cartridge.
- Squeeze the first portion into waste until the colour coming through the nozzle is uniform. Adhesive dispensed before that point isn't mixed and won't cure to strength.
- Fill the hole from the back, withdrawing the nozzle as it fills so no air pocket is trapped behind the adhesive.
- Release the pressure the moment you stop squeezing, or the cartridge keeps flowing. Wipe the carriage before anything cures on it.
