The Simpson Strong-Tie HGUS2.75/14 is a face-mount heavy girder hanger with double-shear nailing for a 2-3/4 in. wide carried member. It is 12-gauge steel with a G90 zinc galvanized coating, 12-7/8 in. tall with a 4 in. seat.

HGUS hangers can be installed after the beam is secured in place. Use all specified fasteners.

How to Install
  1. Set the hanger against the header at the layout line with the seat level.
  2. Install the specified fasteners through the header holes.
  3. Seat the carried member fully, then drive the specified joist fasteners at an angle through the joist into the header so the table loads are achieved.
