The LT3514 is an 18-gauge top-mount hanger for a 3-1/2 in. x 14 in. I-joist. It hooks over the header and secures the I-joist with one or two screws through the seat into the bottom flange.
Accommodates a skew of up to 5 degrees and cannot be field-modified.

Which nails do I need?

Can I use it on a pressure-treated deck?
Not this finish. G90 galvanizing is for dry, interior framing. For preservative-treated lumber or exterior exposure, Simpson calls for ZMAX, hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel connectors and matching fasteners. Ask us about the ZMAX or stainless version.
