Stanley - Shock Resistant Torpedo Level - 43-511

The Stanley 43-511 is a 9 in. torpedo level built for tight spots a full-size level can't reach, with 3 vials so it reads level, plumb and 45 degrees from the same tool. A magnetic base lets it stand hands-free on steel studs, pipe and duct.

The aluminum frame and rubber end caps are built to shrug off a drop on a job site, and an open, top-read center vial keeps the bubble visible without crouching to eye level.

Features and Common Uses
  • 9 in. shock-resistant aluminum frame with rubber end caps to absorb job-site drops
  • 3 vials read level, plumb and 45-degree angles
  • Magnetic base holds hands-free on steel studs, pipe and ductwork
  • Open, top-read center vial for easy viewing without crouching
  • Integrated pipe groove for use on rounded surfaces
  • 2mm/m accuracy on the primary edge, backed by Stanley's limited lifetime warranty

Commonly used for:

  • Setting outlet boxes, cabinet hardware and hangers plumb and level
  • Checking pipe and conduit runs where a magnetic, hands-free level saves a hand
  • Tight spaces where a 24 in. or 48 in. level won't fit
