ToughRock Fireguard 45 Gypsum Board, 1/2 in. x 4 ft. x 8 ft.

ToughRock Fireguard 45 is a 1/2 in. gypsum board that can be used in place of standard or lightweight 1/2 in. drywall, with UL classification for 45-minute fire-rated wall assemblies. This is the 4 ft. x 8 ft. sheet.

Features and Common Uses
  • UL Design V316 classification for 45-minute fire-rated walls (2x4 wood studs at 16 in. o.c.)
  • Noncombustible core (ASTM E136); flame spread 15, smoke developed 0 (ASTM E84)
  • Usable as a sag-resistant ceiling board with framing up to 24 in. o.c.
  • Face, back and long edges use 100% recycled paper
